Selection test on "Harvesting Hope" is tomorrow.  Study your notes, and review your story.  Also, we'll write a short answer question.  Study for a good grade.  You can do this.

     1st Block - Write a one page biography about one of your classmates.

     2nd Block - Purple Group - TChart
                         Blue Group - Write a newspaper article and use 6 vocabulary words.

     3rd Block - Write 12 bits of information about you.

Find a quiet place to work.  Use your good imagination.  Proof read when finished.  Have fun.

Hello Sixth Grade Reading Students,

     Your Wed. homework is Practice Book pages 203 & 204.  Write a letter to a grandparent using all 5 vocabulary words and one of them to be used twice.  (six words).  Have a wonderful evening.

Learn about Thomas Alva Edison, especially one of his favorite quotes, "Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration."  We'll do 17 multiple choice questions on cause and effect, compare and contrast, making inferences, and author's purpose.  Also, we'll do a short answer question. Enjoy reading!
